Meet Your Counselor
Andrea Fischer, LICSW
At some point in all of our lives we find ourselves in a challenging and dark place. It can be hard to know what to do and we are often embarrassed to tell others about it. Know that you don't need to go through this alone; it takes a lot of courage to seek support. Talking with someone who is removed from the situation and is non-judgmental can help. Let me stand beside you and together we can work towards navigating out of this darkness and finding peace.

I am a Christian and offer Counseling through a biblical lens. Jesus is described as the light of the world and I believe that including God in treatment will make it easier to find that light again (John 8:12). I am a firm believer in meeting each person where they are and allowing them to choose our path throughout therapy.

I have experience in helping people with addiction, anger management, anxiety, autism, behavioral challenges, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, chronic illness/pain communication challenges, depression, family conflict, grief, life transitions, oppositional behavior/defiance, parenting, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, substance use, suicidal ideation, trauma and women's issues.
Finding the right counselor for you is difficult! Please give me a call if you think we might be a good fit. If we aren’t, that is okay! I am more than happy to give you other helpful resources! The most important thing is that we get you the support and help that you need.
